Why do I want to be your Alabama State Auditor?
Because my aversion of taxes runs so deep I want to ensure every penny is accounted for!
As an Eagle Scout, it was instilled in me that everyone has a duty to God, Country, and Family. Additionally, scouting taught me the importance of the concepts of Citizenship in the World; Citizenship in the Country; and most importantly; Citizenship in the Community.
Being a Libertarian in office, I would not be tied to "big money" interests or voting along "party lines." I will have the freedom to decide what actions will assist the families of Alabama to prosper. The Libertarian philosophy promotes a logically consistent approach to politics based on the moral principle of self-ownership. Each individual has the right to control their own body, action, speech, and property. Government's only role is to help individuals defend themselves from force and fraud. This is how the Libertarian Party earned the nickname as "The Party of Principle."
The Libertarian way is a caring, people-centered approach to politics. We believe each individual is unique. We want a system which respects the individual and encourages us to discover the best within ourselves and develop our full potential.
